Hydraulic brakes vs. mechanical brakes which should I choose?
Hydraulic Brakes: stronger braking power, lighter lever feel, more consistent performance
Mechanical Brakes: Offer easier braking control, making it less likely for the wheels to lock up.
If you ride at higher speeds or frequently go downhill, we strongly recommend hydraulic brakes.
